Sardinia: A Taste of Rustic Italy

Seasoned travellers and holidaymakers are always on the lookout for new destinations to visit. Many of the best kept travel secrets, however, can be virtually found on your doorstep. For instance, if you ask the average UK traveller which countries they have visited, they would most commonly list such countries as France, Spain, Italy or the USA.

However, many people who have visited Italy, for instance, may not have had the pleasure of seeing one of the Italian islands, such as Sardinia, Sicily or Elba. This is a shame as the beautiful island of Sardinia, for example, offers visitors an abundance of activities, scenery and places of interest.

Those who wish to experience Sardegna appartamenti first hand, as an alternative to the usual mainland destinations of Venice or Rome, will find there is a great choice of hotels and self catering accommodation available on the island.

To cater for the increasing number of travellers wishing to sample the delights of Sardinia, there are a number of regular direct flights from most international UK airports.

This means that you can leave the often damp and cloudy climate of the UK behind and be sunning yourself on the unspoilt sandy beaches of this sun drenched Mediterranean island within three hours.
