Table Linens from France

French linens are renowned around the world for their unique design and quality. Provence linens are of particular interest, as they often come decorated with olives and lavender bouquets.

In fact Provence offers more than just white sand beaches and scantily-clad Europeans. In this article we are going to discuss table linens .

Though famous for their wines and inimitable cuisine, the people of Provence also have a long tradition of fabric making. Colourful cotton tablecloths and traditional table linens have been produced by the locals for hundreds of years now. There are also napkins, place mats and simple table accessories like bread baskets and napkin holders.

These products can be purchased online or in the marketplaces of nearly any city in the region. Provence is also quite famous for its enticing fragrances and bath products. Everyday bath essentials like soaps, lotions and even scented candles are easy enough to find.

And for shoppers who love trinkets and unique crafts, the people of Provence are renowned for their handmade Santon Dolls and their decorative ceramics. The prices of these items tend to vary quite a bit from town to town.

Lastly, the region is also famous for its extra virgin olive oil, which is produced at local oil mills. The quality of this olive oil is beyond compare, not to mention the fact that it is much cheaper than anything you would find at your local market.
