The summer heat can make a person do some crazy things which is why it is always good to take a couple of weeks each year and travel somewhere nice. It doesn't have to be an exotic location in the Caribbean Sea nor does it have to be Rome, you just need to go somewhere where you can refresh your batteries.
Deciding on a travel location is the hardest thing that you will have to do. Packing for the trip and planning all of the activities are easy, most you will do on impulse anyway. You need to do something a bit different this time round and come outside of your social shell.
Some people dislike the extreme heat or cold, if that is the case then you should find a nice neutral climate where you can vacation with your family. In addition to climate you need to make sure that everyone agrees on the location. If some agree and others do not, it can make the vacation miserable for them.
Some people get carried away when they go travelling. You do not need to pack your entire closet, pack light so that you and your family can be mobile.
Remember that travelling is supposed to be fun and exciting. As long as you are having a good time it doesn't matter where you go.
