Travelling Around Germany

Let us start this look at travelling around Deutschland by turning our attention to their great capital- Berlin. There is no denying the fact that this city has plenty to offer in terms of history and culture and today it has become a cosmopolitan delight.

Then, of course, there are the other largest cities in Germany that are worth a visit in their own right. Hamburg is located towards the north of the country and Munich in the south. Munich is an especially attractive city in the region of Bavaria and tourists flood here year round to enjoy the picturesque town. Hotels and other rentals in Munich are usually in very good supply.

Next we head west, to an area that is affectionately named The Rhineland. Having visited much of Germany, this region of the country was by far the most scenic and idyllic. Why not start your trip around this area in Cologne and Bonn. Two more perfect German cities to really get around and explore.

Then head down the River Rhine towards the city of Koblenz which is an especially attractive and sleepy city with a number of church spires adorning the skyline. Keep heading south until you reach Wiesbaden and Frankfurt. The latter of these two cities is where much of the financial affairs of Germany are carried out and this provides for an immensely modern and opulent settlement.
